German photographer. Born 1953 on a farm in Boernsen (Germany), receives his
first camera, a “box” for roll film on his birthday. He finishes school in WIesbaden 1974, studies from 1974 – 1976 social anthropology and publishing.
He worked form 1976 to 1977 as “photo-instructor” on a US-Military-Base near Frankfurt. 1976 he had his first solo-exhibition in Mainz.
1979 he published his first portfolio in the magazine “Camera” and exhibits at the the “Friends of Photography” in Carmel, California.
1980 he starts freelancing for editorial, advertising and architecture and continues publishing and exhibiting his works. 1983 he
published his first monographic book. 1896 he changes his focus to architectural photography and published his second
monographic book. 1996 he was founding member of the agency “ARTUR” now “ARTURIMAGES”.
